Cherry is a young beautiful Soc. She comes from a rich family and lives in a big house. In the book The Outsiders she has a crush on Dallas Winston a greaser. Cherry has a fiery temper and all she cares about is her reputation. That's why she does not want to be seen with ponyboy or Dally. Her boyfriend was bob but after Johnny killed him she could no look at Johnny. She also served as a spy to the greasers for the rumble she loves to watch sunsets like pony boy, one time in the book she said things are ruff all over. I think that means that Socs and Greasers have it bad and everyone has problems.
Cherry was walking home , when suddenly someone touched her shoulder and muffled “This is not your territory”. She screamed because she was in the east side! It was only Dally “You shouldn't be walking by your lonesome at night Cherry” he lectured her.
“Sorry Dally I was just at Ponyboys”she explained.Then Dally kindly offered her a ride to her house. Dally’s car was so it could catch on fire and would explode!
“Dally you got to buy a new car this is a wreck.” Cherry explained.
“Shut up lets go “, we drove off into the night.
Going down the road, we just entered Soc territory. We saw a gang ahead. DAlly spend up the car but we where to late. One of the socs threw a cigarette at the car!
“Cherry get out” Dally screamed! She jumped out as fast as she could.
“DALLY!” She screamed. She spirited to the ruins of the car! “Dallas Winston. Where are you!”
At Dallys Funeral only five people where there Cherry, Ponyboy, Two Bit and Cherrys parents (Who paid for it). He was buried next to johnny. He will always have special place in Cherry Heart.
